After a cataclysmic event destroys much of Earth, Frankenstein’s monster is left to roam the remaining wasteland believing he is the sole survivor. A love story like no other
“Love in a time of Monsters by Kathleen Alberts is a wonderful Gothic love story. Beautifully written, it paints a vivid story of a world that that is dark and tragic, but still manages to find moments of beauty and splendor. The two main protagonists, Pathos and Monarch couldn't be more different, but yet are still very much alike. This story brings you into a world unlike anything you've ever read before with an ending that is so poignant, It had me wondering what it truly means to love somebody. I highly recommend this book, particularly for anyone who has ever loved someone for the strength of their character, not the physical image they present. A fantastic read.”
